Itinerary
Day 1: Srinagar
On arrival at Srinagar airport, you will be met by our representative, after meet and greet he transfer you to the hotel or to the houseboat. After refreshing we have to go for local sightseeing in Srinagar or a boat ride on Dal Lake. Over night stay in Srinagar.
Srinagar literally means ”the citu of wealth” is popularly accepted as the ‘Paradise on Earth’, which is located in the gorgeous Kashmir valley on the banks of the River Jhelum. Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir, is renowned for its traditional handicrafts, lakes, gardens and houseboats. This hill station town can be visited throughout the year.
Day 2: Srinagar sightseeing
Today after breakfast you spend time with exploring the interesting spots of Srinagar. Stay Overnight at Houseboat/Hotel.
Attractions in Srinagar are
Dal Lake: Dal lake, covers an area of approximately 26 sq km is famous for its houseboats and Shikaras and remains crowded throughout the year. The lake is suitable for kayaking, swimming, angling, canoeing, water surfing and Shikara riding. During some winters the lake get frozen.
Nagin Lake: A narrow causeway separates Dal lake from Nagin Lake is named as ‘Jewel in the ring’. Shikara boating, Water skiing, boat sailing facilities are available at this lake. This lake is said to be cleaner than the Dal lake.
Jama Masjid: This Jama Masjid built in 1674 with four spires tower, 370 pillars, prayer halls, etc. Each pillar is made from a single piece of deodar wood. This is also known as the Friday Mosque.
Hazratbal Mosque: Hazratbal Mosque is located on the banks of Dal Lake, is made from white marble. The architecture here is a fusion of Kashmiri and Mughal styles. The Mosque is also called Dargah Sharif, Asar-e-Sharif, and Madinat-us-Sani. The shrine in the Mosque is believed to contain a relic-a hair of the Islamic Prophet Muhammad.
Shankaracharya Temple: Shankaracharya Temple located at a height of 1,100 ft above sea level & on top of Shankaracharya Hill. The temple was built around 200 BC by Jaluka, the son of Emperor Ashoka. From the hill top visitors can get a spectacular view of the snow clad mountains.
Sri Pratap Singh Museum: This museum exhibits antiques of 3rd, 4th & 5th centuries. The ancient brass model of Lokeshvara and a green stone figure of Lord Vishnu sitting on a Garuda is another attraction. The museum also displays a 5th century copper image of Buddha and some paintings, ancient coins, handicrafts and arms.
Indira Gandhi Tulip Garden: This garden near Dal Lake is famous for its annual Tulip Festival that last for seven days. This 90 acres of garden has more than 70 varieties of colored tulip flowers. Other close by  gardens lare Nishat Garden, Shalimar Garden, Achabal Bagh, Chashma Shahi Garden, Pari Mahal and other Mughal Gardens.
Nishat Bagh: Nishat Bagh near Dal Lake was built by Abdul Hasan Asaf Khan in 1633 and is one of the largest Mughal Gardens built here. The garden has many rare species of flowers, 12 terraces, flowerbeds, fountains and huge lawns that draw many tourists.
Dachigam Wildlife Sanctuary (141 Sq. Km area): Dachigam Wildlife Sanctuary, encircled by beautiful mountains and greenery is recognized for housing the rare Kashmir stag Hangul and black & brown bears. This sanctuary acknowledged as a National Park has a wide variety of flora and fauna.
Srinagar houseboats: The Srinagar houseboat is originally made for emperors. They are approximately 50 yards in length with three or more bedrooms, each with bathroom and dressing facilities. And all the amenities necessary for private matters and elegant dressing. Each room has a hand-crafted ceiling and hand-carved cedar paneled walls. The floors and corridor are thickly covered with traditional and colorful Kashmir rugs and carpets. Luxurious living room and dining rooms are also another attractions. The houseboats are available in different category via Budget, deluxe and luxury.
Day 3: Sonmarg day tour (2730 meters above sea level, 84 K.ms from Srinagar, 3 hours drive)
Today enjoy an excursion to Sonamarg (Golden Meadow). Sonamarg lies in Sindh Valley streamed with flowers and surrounded by mountains. Sonamarg is also the base for some interesting treks to the high altitude of Himalayan Lakes. Enjoy horse riding up to Thajwas glacier and sledge riding on snow. Evening back to Srinagar for overnight stay.
Sonamarg: The 84 K.ms drive to Sonamarg from Srinagar is through the Sindh Valley, which presents a spectacular facet of countryside in Kashmir. The picturesque natural beauty of the region brought this name to Sonamarg. Sonamarg is surrounded by breathtaking glaciers (Kashmir Valley namely Kolhoi Glacier and Machoi Glacier) and serene lakes is a snow covered beautiful flower-laden meadow in the majestic Himalayan mountain region. This enchanting scenic place is amazing with many mind blowing attractions. Nilagrad, a colony of the Baltics, is a picturesque location where a small stream splashes in to the River Sindh. Sonamarg is the home of many beautiful and serene lakes. Various mountain lakes such as Gangabal, Vishansar, Gadsar, Satsar and Kishansar are situated in and around Sonamarg. Sonamarg is also a base for undertaking the yatra to the holy Amarnath cave.
Day 4: Srinagar to Pahalgam ( 90 K.ms, 1 hour & 40 minutes drive)
Today get transfered to Pahalgam after breakfast, en route visit the Saffron fields and Avantipur ruins which is eleven hundred years old Temple, and Martand Temple built by king Lalitaditya Muktapida. After lunch enjoy the natural charm of the valley- stay Overnight at hotel in Pahalgam.
Day 5: Pahalgam sightseeing
Pahalgam: Pahalgam is a beautiful valley in Kashmir and the Lidder River running through it makes it even more picturesque. The river is one of the favorite spots for trout fishing in the country. Rafting is also organized in this river. Three main sites in Pahalgam are : ChandanwariBetaab Valley and Aru valley. Pony ride is another facility here to enjoy the scenic meadow called Baisaran or ‘Mini Switzerland’ from the town. White water rafting is must do thing in Pahalgam. If you are travelling in the months of June and July, better carry sunscreen lotions if your skin is prone to sun-burns.
Day 6: Gulmarg (2730 meters above sea level, 140 K.ms from Pahalgam, 3 hour’s drive)
Today after breakfast head to Gulmarg, known as the meadow of flower, enjoy Gondola ride, Horse ride and more in Gulmarg. Stay Overnight at Gulmarg.
 
Gulmarg: 
Gulmarg is a beautiful hill station and a popular skiing destination. Originally called ‘Gaurimarg’ by shepherds, Gulmarg was discovered in the 16th century by Sultan Yusuf Shah, who was excited by the sight of its grassy slopes emblazoned with wild flowers. And was also a favourite resort for the Mughal Emperor Jahangir. This beautiful hill station lies at a distance of 56 kilometers from Srinagar, and is one among the most favorite holiday destinations of Kashmir. The word “Gul” means flowers, and hence the name Gulmarg stands for “a meadow of flowers”. A trip to this land is a journey to a beautiful world of flowers. Flowers seen here includes bluebells, daisies, forget-me-not and buttercups. The snow-capped peaks add to the grandeur of the land.
 
Gulmarg’s green golf courses and the gondola lift are very popular among tourists. This Gondola lift offers a ride high above the mountains and pine-clad slopes of the region and offers an attractive view of Gulmarg. A beautiful and panoramic 18-hole golf course is situated at a height of 2,650 meters above the sea level offers tourists a temporary membership. If you don’t need to play the game, you can spend time by admiring the spectacular lush green land slopes that incline gradually. Pony Rides from Gulmarg to Khilamarg, Kongdori and seven springs is another attraction. During winter Gulmarg turns in to a skiing resort. The skiing season commences in December and goes on till the month of April. The popular tourists’ sports here include Skiing, Trekking and Heli skiing. Heliskiing is where a helicopter takes you to the chosen peak from where you can choose his own descent route. The lake called Alpather remains frozen till the month of June from December.
 
Day 7: Departure Transfer  
After breakfast drive to Srinagar airport for boarding Delhi flight.
