Itinerary:
 
Day 1 & 2: Kovalam 
On arrival at Thiruvananthapuram transfer to Kovalam beach (14 Km). Some of the attractions here are three adjacent crescent beaches and a massive rocky promontory on the beach, has created a beautiful bay of calm waters ideal for Swimming, Snorkeling & Surfing…. The shore is lined with plenty of restaurants offering all kinds of sea food available locally. Rock in the shallow waters of Crescent Beaches & enjoy the evenings with seafood dinners by choosing the fish of your taste.
Day 2: Kanyakumari Tour–After breakfast travel to Kanyakumari (80 Km). This is a former district of Kerala located at the southernmost tip of Indian Peninsula; it is also known by its English name Cape Comorin. Visit centuries old Wooden Palace, Suchindram Temple, Devi Kanyakumari temple and Vivekananda. This is place where confluence of 3 oceans occurs (Indian Ocean, Bay of Bengal & Arabian Sea). See spectacular Kanyakumari Sunset from here & return to Kovalam Beach.
Day 3: Houseboat Cruise from Alappuzha to Kumarakom (160 Km from Kovalam 3 hours drive)
After early breakfast drive to drive to Alappuzha the “Venice of the East” for a memorable houseboat cruise to enchanting backwater village, Kumarakom in Kottayam district of Kerala, and is set in the backdrop of Vembanad Lake, the biggest freshwater lake of Kerala. The place is charming with its coconut groves, panoramic backwater views, small islands, Traditional rice boats (Now houseboats) and a lot of other leisure facilities. The bird sanctuary here is an Ornithologists paradise with local and migratory birds. Stay 1 night here.
Day 4 & 5: Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary (Thekkady 1000-1900 Meters above sea level)
After Breakfast a scenic journey to Thekkady (230 Km from Kovalam 6 hours drive).On arrival check into hotel, refresh yourself & relax.
Periyar India ‘s largest wildlife sanctuary is a dream destination which spread over an area of 777 Sq.Kms, surrounded by an artificial lake over an area of 25 Sq. K.ms Thekkady. This is one of the richest and most diverse bio-diversity spots in the Western Ghats. Thekkady is a pleasant heaven on earth for those who love nature in its wild manifestations. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 5: Bamboo rafting: A dawn to dusk range hiking and rafting programme through some of the richest forest tracts of Periyar Tiger Reserve with lunch. Starting at 8 am from the boat jetty, a mosaic of habitats will be covered before you get into rafts. A thrilling three hours is guaranteed for you while rafting, keep your eyes and ears open to take in some of the beautiful visuals and captivating sounds. Butterflies with fascinating wing patterns, flowers with dazzling hues, wild animals like elephants, bison, gaur, sambar… all are here by the banks to welcome you. Rafting team will be accompanied by an armed guard & experienced guides. Evening back to the hotel & relax.
Day 6 & 7: Munnar (90 Km from Thekkady–3 hours drive) 
After Breakfast Check out from hotel & make a scenic drive towards Munnar (1800 meters above sea level) a scenic journey past mist capped mountains, Coffee, Tea & all  Spices plantations, open grasslands lined with Spectacular waterfalls ….. On arrival check into hotel, refresh yourself & enjoy sightseeing and overnight stay at Munnar.
Day 7: Sandalwood Forest & Wildlife Parks 
Today you will visit Eravikulam National Park, Chinnar wildlife park, Marayoor sandalwood forest. Evening back to the hotel and spend overnight.
Rajamala (Part of Eravikulam National Park): Rajamalai is located at about 15 k.ms from Munnar.  This region is the natural habitat of the Nilgiri Tahr (Hemitragas hylocres). It was converted to a national park to provide a safe sanctuary for the endangered species of Nilgiri Tahr. The natural habitat of the Niligiri tahr ,Rajamala is 2695 Mts above sea level. Half the world’s population of the rare mountain goat or tahr a species becoming extinct is now found here.The total number of Niligiri Tahrs in Rajamala is estimated to be over 1300.
Chinnar Wildlife Sanctuary: Chinnar wildlife sanctuary is about 60 k.ms from Munnar. It is an ideal spot for trekking and enjoying wildlife closely. It is the habitat for endangered grizzled giant squirrel in India. Almost 34 species of mammals including panthers, spotted deer, elephants, tigers can be found here. It is also a bird watchers paradise. 245 species of birds live here!
Sandalwood forest Marayur: Marayoor is located at around 42 k.ms north of Munna. And is famous for the natural sandalwood forest. Not only that, this place is said to be part of the ancient stone age civilization dated back to 10,000 B.C. Stone age paintings, rock edicts and dolmens found there vouch for this rich heritage.
Day 8 & 9: Thattekkad Bird Sanctuary (90 Km from Munnar–4.5 hours drive)
After breakfast a 2 hours wonderful drive will take you to the Bird Sanctuary. Check in to hotel here. This is the richest bird habitat on Indian Peninsula. More than 80% of birds found in Kerala can be seen here. The region is an evergreen low-land forest located between the branches of Periyar River, the longest river in Kerala. Several species of birds, both forest birds as well as the water birds, visit the sanctuaries, and the important ones include Indian Pitta, Ground Thrush, an orange-headed bird, Large-billed Leaf-warbler, Jerdon’s Nightjar, Indian Cuckoo, Darters, Cormorants, Whiskered Terns, Collared Scops Owl, Frogmouths, Pompadour Green Pigeon, Yellow-browed Bulbuls, Drongo Cuckoo which may be easily mistaken for Drongo, Indian Hawk Cuckoo which is highly vocal, and the Large Hawk Cuckoo. Stay 2 nights here by enjoying the activities like River Kayaking, Cycling, Birding & Village walks.
Day 10: Athirappally Waterfalls (80 Km from Bird sanctuary–2 hours drive) 
Then drive to the majestic waterfalls of Kerala. The Chalakudi River bursting forth from the jungles of Sholayar comes crashing down, plummeting 80 feet to form the dramatic Athirappilly Falls – the waterfalls as spirited and noisy as the forests are dark and silent. The cool spray that covers a large area near the falls makes this area a scenic location. Many eminent film directors used this location for their movies. Overnight stay at Athirappilly.
Day 11 & 12: Fort Kochi (80 Km from Waterfalls–2 hours drive) 
After breakfast, enjoy a city sightseeing drive to Kochi, check in to your hotel and stay 2 nights here. An obscure fishing village that became the first European township in India. The town was shaped by the Portuguese, the Dutch and later the British. The results of these cultural influences still exist here.
A leisurely stroll here through its streets in the evening is one of the best ways to discover all that this town has to offer- each and every nook of this island is steeped in history. Attractions here are Indo Portuguese museum, Chinese fishing nets, Dutch Cemetery, Mattancherry palace, St. Francis Church, Santa Cruz Basilica, Jewish Synagogue and many other things.
In the evening–enjoy Kathakali – the exotic and universally popular performing art of Kerala. ‘Mudra & Make-up’ demonstration follows the performance. The two hours pass too soon.
