7 Nights in Kovalam Beach: 0n arrival at Thiruvananthapuram airport, transfer to Kovalam by road (15 Km, 25 minutes drive). The attractions here is three adjacent crescent beaches and a massive rocky promontory on the beach has created a beautiful bay of calm waters ideal for sea bathing. The leisure options at this beach are plenty and diverse. Sunbathing, swimming, surfing, herbal body toning massages, special cultural programmes and catamaran cruising are some of them. Here night life begins by the sunset and carries on well till late night with vibrant music & delicious seafood.
Itinerary:
 
Day 1 & 2: Kovalam–Free at Leisure
Today & tomorrow we recommend many options for you. You can choose to soak in the sun on the beach, go for a swim or do absolutely nothing! If adventure is what you like, opt for some water sports like surfing or have fun on a catamaran boat ride or some herbal body massage.
Day 3: Day tour to Ponmudi Hill Station (3 hours drive) – After breakfast proceed to Ponmudi. This is a hill station in Western Ghats located 915 meters above sea level. On the way see a variety of beautiful mountain flowers, exotic butterflies, Kallar river with rounded pebbles, small rivulets, tea plantations, lush forests, springs etc this place offers excellent trekking possibilities and camping opportunities.  During monsoon rivulets and rapids flow across the road. There are 22 hairpin curves in the short distance of 70 KMs from kovalam which makes the travel a thrilling experience. Evening back to Kovalam.
Day 4: Houseboat Cruise at Kollam
After breakfast proceed to Kollam for a 22 hours houseboat cruise through narrow picturesque canals, Lakes & lagoons by enjoying duck farming, backwater village life, Village women making Coir, toddy tapping, Fishing and watching birds like kingfisher, wood pecker, drongo, egrets, bee-caters etc. staying totally away from the mainland.
Day 5: Kovalam
Check out from houseboat & proceed to Kovalam. You may do a shopping from Thiruvananthapuram city on your way back to kovalam. And spend rest of the day with activities of own arrangements.
Day 6: Day tour to Kanyakumari (2 hours drive)
After breakfast travel to Kanyakumari (65 Km, 1.5 hours drive) Visit Padmanabhapuram wooden palace, Suchindram temple, Devi Kanyakumari Temple, Vivekananda rock, Gandhidham and Triveni Sangam (confluence of 3 oceans–Indian Ocean, Bay of Bengal & Arabian Sea). The city is at the southernmost tip of India is especially popular for its spectacular and unique sunrise and sunset, thanks to its being nearly surrounded by ocean waters. On a pleasant, full-moon evenings (Chitra Pournami), one can see the moon-rise and sunset at the same time. The nature of the sand in the beaches of Kanyakumari is unique as it is multicolored. Return to Kovalam after sunset.
Day 7: Kovalam
Free and leisure at kovalam beach with activities of your taste.You can choose to soak in the sun on the beach or go for a swim with friends you find from the beach or do absolutely nothing! If adventure is what you like, opt for some water sports like surfing or have fun on a catamaran boat ride or some herbal body massage.
Day 8: Departure Transfer
Morning as per your flight/train schedule we transfer you to the relevant spot.
