Day 1 & 2: Munnar: 
You will get met & greeted on arrival at the Kochi airport /railway station and transfer to the resort in Munnar. Once known as the High Range of Travancore, this small town in western Ghats is famous for its picturesque sceneries, misty hills, sprawling tea plantations, wildlife sanctuaries and above all the climate makes it one of the most sought after tourist destination in India today. Also Munnar is the commercial centre of some of the world’s highest tea-growing estates.
After 3 and 1/2 hours scenic drive by passing 130 and stopping at some of the wayside attractions you reach Munnar and check in to the pre-booked hotel. Sandalwood forest Marayur: Marayoor is located at around 42 north of Munnar. And is famous for the natural sandalwood forest. Not only that, this place is said to be part of the ancient stone age civilization dated back to 10,000 B.C. Stone age paintings, rock edicts and dolmens found there vouch for this rich heritage.
Blossom Park: Blossom International Park is about 3 km away from Munnar town and it spreads over 16 acres. It is a peaceful location to enjoy a calm and relaxing nature walk admiring flowers and surrounding green hillside. The park offer many activities for tourists like boating, cycling, roller skating etc.
Lakkom Water Falls: This waterfall is about 25 from Munnar. Lakkom waterfalls are part of Eravikulam National Park. The cascading waterfalls and the scenic surroundings make it tourists’ favourite hideout in Munnar.
Chinnar Wildlife Sanctuary: Chinnar wildlife sanctuary is about 60 from Munnar. It is an ideal spot for trekking and enjoying wildlife closely. It is the habitat for endangered grizzled giant squirrel in India also the sanctuary hosts deer, leopards, elephants. Almost 34 species of mammals including panthers, spotted deer, elephants, tigers can be found here. It is also a bird watchers paradise, 245 species of birds live here!
Mattupetty Dam: The Mattupetty lake and dam is a very beautiful picnic spot. The sprawling Kundala tea plantations and the Kundala lake are other attractions in the vicinity. Boating facilities like Speed Launch and slow speed motor boats are available on hire.
Mattupedi Dairy Farm: Mattupetty is also famous for the Indo-Swiss Farm. This is a highly specialized dairy farm which comes under Indo-Swiss Livestock Project. Hundreds of high quality cattle are reared here and new varieties are scientifically developed.
Kundala Lake: Kundala Lake is an artificial reservoir of a minor arch shaped dam huddled between the mountain ranges. It is about a 20 km drive from Munnar. Boating facilities available here.
Pothamedu: Pothamedu offers an excellent view of the tea, coffee and cardamom plantations in Munnar. The rolling hills, the lush mountain and the breathtaking scenery here is ideal for trekking and long mountain walks.
Top Station: This is 1880 meters above sea level & is about 40 km from Munnar. The panoramic view of the Western Ghats and the valley of Theni from Top station is simply breathtaking.
Echo Point: Echo Point is about 15 km from Munnar. Go there and scream as loud as you can, and wait for a while. You can hear your echo back!
Devikulam: This idyllic hill station with its velvet lawns, exotic flora and fauna and the cool mountain air is a rare experience. The Sita Devi Lake with its mineral waters and picturesque surroundings is a good picnic spot. The lake is also ideal for trout fishing.
Pallivasal: This is the venue of the first Hydro Electric Project in Kerala and a place of immence scenic beauty.
Chithirapuram: With its sleepy little cottages, bungalows, old playgrounds and courts, Chithirapuram still exudes an old world charm. Home of the Pallivasal Hydel Power Project, this hill town is also famous for its picturesque tea plantations.
Attukal: A panorama of waterfalls and rolling hills, Attukal, located between Munnar and Pallivasal, is a feast for the eyes. The place is also ideal for long treks.
Nyayamakad: Located between Munnar and Rajamala, Nyayamakad is a land of breathtaking waterfalls. The waters cascade down a hill from a height of about 1600 meters. The enchanting surroundings makes an excellent picnic spot and trekking point.
Rajamalai (Part of Eravikulam National Park): Rajamalai is located at about 15 from Munnar.  This region is the natural habitat of the Nilgiri Tahr (Hemitragas hylocres). It was converted to a national park to provide a safe sanctuary for the endangered species of Nilgiri Tahr. The natural habitat of the Niligiri tahr ,Rajamala is 2695 Mts above sea level. Half the world’s population of the rare mountain goat or tahr a species becoming extinct is now found here.The total number of Niligiri Tahrs in Rajamala is estimated to be over 1300.
Tea Museum: This tea museum is first of its kind in India. The aim of this museum according to its founders is to showcase the growth of more-than-a-century-old tea plantations in this region. Anyone visiting this museum will get a clear picture of how backbreaking is tea processing really.
Day 3: Munnar–Kochi
After breakfast check out from the resort and proceed to Kochi. On the way depend on the availability of time and your interest we may stop at some attractions. And you may spend time in Koch for shopping as well before reaching airport/railway station. And travel back home with the misty and inspiring memories of a weekend.
